Holla!

This past few days has been pretty hectic to say the least. I have been working like a dog whilst at the same time partying, flicking through some old issues of Vogue, and eating DELICIOUS cupcakes! Basically doing everything I can to put off starting my assignments for this term at uni. 

Above is my outfit that I wore out for a big get together I had with some friends on Saturday night. I'm sorry the pictures are kind of hazy (blame the iPhone!). I have also realised that if I'm going to start doing regular outfit posts I should probably tidy my room beforehand ;)

Street Style - Couture Week Paris

When searching for my favourite street style pictures that have been posted online during this weeks Haute Couture shows in Paris, I found myself getting a little carried away. Street style (as I have said numerous times -nearly every season in fact) is so exciting and fresh. This yet again pops up the same old question - what is it that really gets everyone going over fashion week, the catwalk or the sidewalk?

Salut!

First off I would like to say hello and a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has been visiting my page and leaving comments / following. It is a really nice feeling to know that people keep popping back to see my  updates. 

This week I have been really busy - first official week back at uni after the holidays (snore!), working and at the same time trying to organise my life, start a workout plan and attempt an ever so cliche January health kick. I honestly don't think I have eaten so many green vegetables in my life - but so far so good, I haven't caved into any chocolate just yet!

Today I wore this cute Play by Comme des Garcons black cardi over the top of one of my favourite shirts from Forever21. I also wore this little bracelet that my friend and I bought for each other from Topshop. I'm afraid it was a little wasted though, as I was so cold that I had my hands tucked up my sleeves for the majority of the day! 

I am absolutely IN LOVE with Givenchy's SS13 collection, and was lusting over this scarf this afternoon. Unfortunately I do not yet own it... If anyone would like to donate to the Givenchy scarf charity please do feel free to do so ;)

Also, I came across this coin on a table in a cafe earlier - can anyone shed any light on where it is from? The queen's head is on the back, but that's all I've got. (Here's the geeky side in me coming out now!)

My Funday Sunday!

Don't you just love Sundays? The ultimate chill time :) 

Here is a little sneak peak into the first Sunday of 2013 for me -

I WORE:

My favourite H&M cardi in the world - I have owned it literally forever! My leather pants are from Forever Unique and on my tootsies I have my equally trusty Russell and Bromley patent brogues. For jewellery I stayed simple (it's Sunday!) and wore this amazing ring combo by young British designer Husam el Odeh. Big love goes out to this designer, I really admire his work and am obsessed with his jewellery. 2013 will be a big year for him I think - personally I am certainly looking forward to his future collections!

I PAINTED:

Rimmel Metal Rush on my nails. I'm surprised how nicely this paints on actually, the brush is a perfect size and the nail varnish itself isn't too heavy or sticky. So far I am a fan, now it just has to survive the Monday chip test! Can I make it a whole day without a dent or smudge? Let's hope so!
